Advancing Social Norms Practice for Adolescent and Youth Sexual and Reproductive Health: The Why and the How

In 2019, the Learning Collaborative published a special supplement in the Journal of Adolescent Health, “ Advancing Social Norms Practice for Adolescent and Youth Sexual and Reproductive Health: The Why and the How. This Supplement comprises an editorial on the history of and path forward for social norms research; four commentaries, including one each from the Learning Collaborative measurement, theory, and scale-up learning communities; a review article on scaling up normative change interventions; and five original peer reviewed articles. These articles, which contribute to the evidence base for social norms on adolescent reproductive health, include research on child marriage, use of contraception, and adolescent girls’ agency.
