[Webinar] The Ups and Downs of Scaling Up: Advice on Scaling Norms-Shifting Interventions
In this webinar, held March 2022, we addressed the set of questions we had at the start of the Passages Project: Can community-based norms–shifting interventions be scaled? What best practices from the broad scale up evidence apply to norms–shifting interventions? What are unique promising practices for norms–shifting interventions? A panel of experts from the Passages Project discussed these question – sharing from their experience that yes, community-based norms–shifting approaches can be scaled, and discussing how this can be done.
Speakers were Robert Dabou (SWEDD-Mali Project), Mariam Diakité (Institute for Reproductive Health at Georgetown University), Jennifer Gayles (Save the Children), Jamie Greenberg, Susan Igras (both Georgetown University), Rebecka Lundgren (UC San Diego), Mbadu Muanda (Ministère de la Santé Publique), Ospy Nzigire (Independent Consultant), Francesca Quirke (Tearfund), Issa Sadou (UNFPA).
